體育資訊2月4日報道宣 據TA名記、勇士隨隊記者Anthony Slater報道，球隊消息人士表示，勇士相信他們仍然處于巴特勒或其他可能涉及到的球星的競爭行列。

據聯盟消息來源確認，巴特勒一直偏向太陽作為他的下一站，部分原因是太陽愿意提供比勇士更長、更具吸引力的續約合同。即使勇士愿意提供續約，也可能不會提供如此豐厚的待遇。
